Welcome to Bingaling Bees, my name is Brad Raspet. I started out beekeeping in April of 2011 when I placed my first 4 colonies along the Skagit and Samish Rivers. The following year I retired after 29 years with Renton Fire, and jumped into beekeeping with both feet by starting 16 more Honey Bee colonies. We are currently located in Mount Vernon, Washington and have 26 bee hives placed with 7 host-property owners in the beautiful Skagit River Valley.
We take great pride in the quality of our honey. We follow natural beekeeping methods, never putting anything into the hives that could be harmful to our bees or the environment. Our honey is not heated and is only gently strained so that you can enjoy premium natural raw honey with all the subtle flavors, beneficial phytonutrients, and healthy antioxidants that should be in your honey. Our bees produce a wildflower honey from a variety of the flowers which bloom during the Spring & Summer months. It's a delicious honey, though the taste can vary a little each month because of weather conditions and the flowers that are blooming. Bingaling Honey has a delightful rich flavor, and those familiar with beekeeping and honey extraction know that the terms "natural" or "raw" are interchangeable and are used only when describing the very best honey in it's purest form. We also use small amounts of the honey and beeswax from our honey bee hives in our selection of quality handmade natural soaps & lip balms. We are members of the Skagit Valley Beekeepers Association, the Washington State Beekeepers Association and the Washington Master Beekeepers Organization. We hope that wherever you may live, that you will support your local beekeepers and buy their natural honey and other products. Thank you, Brad Raspet (Journeyman Beekeeper) Bingaling Bees - "Natural" Honey, Handmade Soap & more...
